Returning to once again agitate and soothe in equal measure, Bellevue Days released their third EP last week. Whispering into life, Rosehill continues to expand on the band’s core sound, using silence as much as it does noise to build mesmerising atmosphere into every moment.
Well, this is different. Bellevue Days, not content with having just one of the most emotive vocalists around at the moment, have switched up lead singers for their latest track. And there’s no disguising that fact either – throughout, the vocals are the centerpiece of Faith, as its bare-bones outset erupts into rage against the misconception that religion, rather than self-belief can guide a person through the hardest times in life. The song will be included on new EP Rosehill, due out on July 4th.
I wanna know who let on to Bellevue Days how I feel about them – oh wait that love isn’t really much of a secret is it? Probably why they’ve never played Cardiff, they’re worried that if I actually meet them I might turn into a stalker. Seriously though one of the most honestly emotional bands around right now, despite the fairly dark ending of this video they offer an uplifting attitude through everything. Secret Love will feature on a new EP, Rosehill which is due for release on July 4th.
